You have lost consistency
Work, family, health or life has pushed useful exercise aside.

Personal training with Pete Bernard
A calm, progressive way to return to strength and fitness—built around your starting point, your life and what you want to keep doing.
Start where you are.
Is this you?
Stronger Again is for adults in midlife and beyond who feel less strong or fit than they once did—and want practical help to restart without crash programmes, judgement or gym culture.
Work, family, health or life has pushed useful exercise aside.
You want a sensible starting point and a plan you understand.
You want to learn how to train and eventually make good decisions for yourself.
What you will build
The work is physical and practical. Progress is measured not only by what happens in a session, but by what becomes easier, more reliable or possible outside it.
For carrying, lifting, travelling, gardening, sport and everyday demands.
Aerobic work that supports the life you actually live—not a performance test you never asked for.
Learn the essentials, understand your progress and become less reliant on reassurance.
Normal, shorter and return versions help interruption stop becoming abandonment.
Stronger Again Foundations
One clear starting pathway
Foundations is a coached return to strength, fitness and confidence. It is long enough to assess properly, teach the essentials, build a workable routine and make your next decision from evidence rather than hope.
Choose a concrete outcome that would make a recognisable difference to your life.
Screen, assess and understand your experience, confidence, environment and current capacity.
Practise the few movements, effort cues and routines that create a sound base.
Increase useful challenge while skill, recovery and confidence keep pace.
Build useful alternatives for busy weeks, travel, interruption and returning.
Leave with a next plan and clearer judgement about how to progress, pause or seek help.
Two ways to work
Both routes combine individual programming, independent practice, regular review and progressive teaching. The right route depends on where you train and how much direct instruction you initially need.
In person
Practical assessment and coached sessions in an agreed local venue, supported by individually programmed training between meetings.
Remote
Live instruction, independent workouts, selected exercise-video feedback and structured check-ins—for home, your own gym or mixed locations.
The Stronger Again principle
Teach live. Train independently.
Review evidence. Adapt personally.
About Pete
“I want exercise to support a full life—not compete with it.”
Pete Bernard has spent more than 25 years in career, executive, business and life coaching. Stronger Again brings that experience into a focused personal-training service: mature, non-judgemental and designed to help people become more capable and increasingly independent.
Pete is currently completing his formal personal-training qualifications. Stronger Again will accept paid clients only when the relevant qualification, insurance and operating safeguards are complete.
Useful questions
No. Foundations is designed for people restarting or rebuilding. Your programme begins at an appropriate level, following screening and assessment.
Not necessarily. Remote coaching can work at home, in your own gym, outdoors or across several locations, provided the environment and equipment are suitable.
No. Stronger Again is personal training, not diagnosis, physiotherapy or medical rehabilitation. Where a need falls outside Pete's scope, the right next step may be clearance, referral or collaboration with another professional.
You may continue independently, move into lower-contact coaching, arrange periodic programme reviews, pause or be referred. Continuing is a decision—not an automatic subscription.
Fees will be published once venue, insurance, software and actual delivery time have been confirmed through rehearsal. Foundations will be priced as a complete coached pathway, not a bundle of cheap sessions.
Founding cohort · planned for late 2026
Stronger Again is being built while Pete completes his PT training. The first cohort will be limited to no more than eight people and will open only when the qualification, insurance and client systems are ready.
